This wedding holds the title as probably one of the most unique weddings I've photographed. Traditional, and yet, not. Many of the usual moments were left out, but in their place, there were so many unusual and fun opportunities to photograph some very non-customary elements of the evening. For instance, there was no cake-cutting, no garter/bouquet toss, but the big surprises of the night were priceless. For instance, when Carrie's only sister found out that her sister's wedding was actually going to take place "that night", she was in visible shock.
And then, when all the guests gathered for what they thought were toasts, in walked the bride and groom, freshly changed into their wedding garments, and the ceremony began amidst cheers, raised glasses, and hundreds of iPhones hovering in the air to capture the moment over the crowd.
It was a night like no other, and Carrie and Lee looked like royalty. But I have to say, this crowd really knew how to enjoy the party!
